Everything in one shared workspace

ThreadNotes puts the notes, the people writing them and the connections between them in the same place. Here is what that actually gets you.

Workspaces

Create one, or join one

A workspace is the container for a group's notes. Spin one up and you own it; follow an invite link and you're in. The hub lists every workspace you belong to, so switching context is one click.

  • Create & ownStart a workspace and you become its owner, with member management and invite links.
  • Join by linkNo account hunting or email chains — one link adds someone to the group.
  • Folders that stay tidyName folders to group notes in the sidebar, without them dictating how notes relate.

Rich notes, written together

The editor supports Markdown for headings, lists, tables and the rest — and more than one person can be in it at the same time without anyone overwriting anyone else.

  • Markdown formattingHeadings, lists, tables, emphasis and code — typed, not clicked out of a toolbar.
  • Internal linkingWrite [[Note Title]] to build a knowledge base as you go. Links are two-way and feed the graph.
  • Permissions per notePrivate, owner & author, all members, or a custom selection — decided note by note.

Interactive graph view

Watch the shape of your workspace

A physics-driven graph where each note is a node and each link an edge. It is the fastest way to see how ideas in a workspace actually relate.

Live physics

Nodes settle, repel and spring. Drag one and the neighbourhood follows.

Customisable

Adjust node size, link colour and the forces governing the layout until it reads right.

Per-member

Permissions shape the graph, so everyone's map reflects what they can actually read.

Accounts & admin

Straightforward by design

Secure sign-in

Sign in with Google, or with an email and password. No complicated setup before you can write your first note.

Your profile

Manage the public details other members see — starting with the username that shows up on your cursor.

Owner controls

Workspace owners get a settings page to manage members, revoke access and generate fresh invite links.
